Slams govt for ‘repeating mistakes of predecessors’

QUETTA: Central leader of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Haji Lashkari Raisani has said the central and provincial governments have been signing agreements with China over Balochistan’s resources without taking its people into confidence.

“Unfortunately, the incumbent regime is repeating the acts of the previous government by neglecting the people of Balochistan while selling our natural resources,” Raisani said during his meetings with various delegations at Sarawan House on Friday.



“The BNP-M and the people of Balochistan will not tolerate such practices,” he said.

Raisani warned that ‘the increasing interest of international powers in Balochistan’ might push the province to civil war.

He called upon the Balochistan leadership to review all aspects of foreign investment in Balochistan. He also stressed the need for all political parties to get united against ‘international conspiracies’ being hatched against the province.
