Aisam climbs up in ATP men's doubles rankings

Aisam ul Haq ranks at number 8 on the ATP World ranking List of Doubles Players.

Tennis star, Aisam ul Haq achieved his career best ranking of number eight on the ATP World ranking List of Doubles Players.

His improved ranking was due to his good performance at the French Open last week and is the number two ranked Asian in the Asian ranking followed by Mahesh Bhupati who is at number five.

Rohan Bopanna of India is ranked number 10, while, Leander Paes has dropped down to number 11.

Earlier in May, Aisam had risen to a career-best number 10 from 12 with 4080 points in the ATP doubles rankings.

In world ranking for singles, Rafa Nadal's successful defence of his French Open title means that he holds onto the first seed.

Li Na's title win at the French Open on Saturday saw her move to a career-high fourth in the women's rankings , while Caroline Wozniacki retained her top womens seed.
