Railways divisional HQs to get free WiFi

The official said the management was committed to modernising all Headquarters of Pakistan Railways

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways is set to provide free WiFi facilities to all divisional headquarters across the country in a bid to facilitate passengers and their relatives.

The facility will be provided beginning October 30.



An official in the Ministry of Railways told APP that the ministry had completed all preparations in this regard. "Related instruments are being provided by the children of railway employees as a gift."

The official said the management was committed to modernise all the headquarters of Pakistan Railways under the supervision of Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.



Pakistan Railways has already completed almost 60 per cent work for provision of WiFi and tracking system in trains under the vision of 100-day of the present government.
