Home minister issues orders to beef up security at Central Jail Huda

Khosa directs IG prisons, superintendent to provide all necessary facilities to prisoners

QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Saleem Ahmed Khosa has ordered the high-ups of the Central Jail Huda, Quetta to beef up security in and around the prison’s premises.
During his visit to the jail the other day, the home minister directed the Inspector General Prisons Shuja Kasi and Superintendent Ishaq Zehri to utilise all available resources at their disposal for provision of necessary facilities to the prisoners.

The IG prisons gave a detailed briefing to the home minister. Kasi apprised the minister of the prison's operation and the problems being faced by them.
Sources said security measures are being taken to ensure peace during Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS), which will be observed on October 30 (Tuesday), the 20th of the Islamic month of Safar.
