
Parthiv Patel has said that he knows that as long as MS Dhoni is around, he will only be India’s second-best wicketkeeper and considers it as motivation to continue. “You play the game because you want to turn out in India’s colours,” said Parthiv. After an impressive start to his international career in 2002, things suddenly backfired but advice from seniors and friends have helped Parthiv claw his way back after Dhoni opted to skip the series.
