Studies are underway in Sweden to research what meow’s really mean for humans.

The video released by NatGeo also charts the cat language that helps people understand their mood better.

Researchers are also trying to decode how cats like to be spoken to — whether like friends, adults or children.



Scientists in Sweden are researching whether cats in different parts of the world sound different from each other. They aim to achieve “purrfect harmony for cats and humans”.
