Pakistan is not a football powerhouse, period, but Brazil legend Ricardo Kaka doesn't care much as he wished the national U15 team good luck for their SAFF championship outing.

In a video message, Kaka can be seen sending his love for the national U15 team and motivating them to do their best.

"Hello guys, I am Ricardo Kaka and I am here to wish you a very good luck in this tournament," Kaka can be seen saying in the video.

"Pakistan national team U15, god bless you in this tournament. Go, do your best in this tournament, try hard and I think you guys can achieve your dreams and make everybody that loves you very, very proud," was his message to the Pakistan U15 team.

He concluded by congratulating the team on making it to the tournament, and telling them to deliver their best performances on the pitch.

"So congratulations to be in this tournament, do your best and god bless you guys, bye bye."

The 2018 SAFF U15 Men's Championship is being hosted by Nepal this year with six teams participating in the tournament.

Pakistan, initially in group A, were sent to group B after Sri Lanka withdrew from the tournament.

The tournament started today, where Pakistan beat defending champions India 2-1.

Following the victory, they will now take on Bhutan on October 27 at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) stadium in Lalitpur.

Group A, meanwhile, constitutes of Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives.

Pakistan's record in the championship hasn't been as drastic as the national senior team's as the U15 side were crowned champions in the 2011 event.

This will be the fourth time the team will be participating in the event.
