Cricket: Jayasuriya eyes comeback

The all-rounder said he is also looking forward to the Sri Lankan Premier League in July.

DUBAI: Former Sri Lanka captain Sanath Jayasuriya has expressed his desire of making a return for the upcoming one-day series in England. “I hope to be selected for the England one-day series,” said Jayasuriya in an interview with Gulf News. “I have been playing in the Provincial Series and have played well and got most runs in the domestic season,” he added. The all-rounder, who earlier expressed his disappointment at being ignored for the World Cup, said he is also looking forward to the Sri Lankan Premier League in July.
