Punjab CM’s nod to increase land centers

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar approved an increase in the number of arazi centers, facilitation centers for landowners, under the Land Record Management System in the province. The decision was taken at a meeting held at the chief minister’s office on Friday. According to the approval, the CM said that the scope of the centers would be extended to the level of kanogoi (towns) in phases. In the first phase, he said, 102 new arazi centers would be set up at the level of kanogoi. The meeting also decided that 20 mobile vans would be procured for their use as mobile arazi centres. These vans will be sent to far-flung and remote areas according to the needs and requirements of the people.
