TORONTO, CANADA: I am disgusted and feel sick to the stomach to hear the alleged barbaric murder of a Saudi journalist. The journalist, Jamal Kashoggi, was allegedly killed by Saudi security personnel inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
What kind of human beings would do such a thing? What had upset me the most was to hear that the alleged conspirators were reportedly directed by the Saudi government.
The US government’s reported reaction to the alleged crime is baffling as it is trying to turn a blind eye to the episode. In Third World countries, the rich and powerful can get away with all kinds of sordid acts.
Countries of the rich North should not support ruthless regimes around the world.
