MoU in works: Sukkur to be a ‘sister-city’ of Springfield

SUKKUR: Sukkur Mayor Barrister Islam Shiekh, while attending a conference on strengthening local government infrastructure held in United States of America, met James O Langfelder, the mayor of Springfield, Illinois. Sheikh shared details about the efforts to improve the local government and the standard of living in Sukkur and Langfelder, appreciating his efforts, guided him with his ideas. The two discussed the terms for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that would make Sukkur a sister-city of Springfield.
