Selective accountability?

It is important that politicians from other parties too go through the same drill

MULTAN: All Pakistani governments indulge in corruption and use resources at their disposal to benefit themselves and their cronies. After those in government are removed from power, they are allegedly found to be corrupt.

Yet rarely in the history of the country have politicians been held accountable the way they are being quizzed or arrested now. But is it accountability of all or selective, as the present process of accountability is targeting the PML-N only. Not quite long ago, PPP’s Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur were summoned by NAB for more than one cases of alleged misconduct, however, none were arrested; in fact the two were granted a pre-arrest bail.

It is important that politicians from other parties too go through the same drill the former ruling party is going through.
