Woman allegedly raped for five months in Sialkot

Victim went to meet relatives when she was abducted

SIALKOT: A woman has allegedly been repeatedly raped for the last five months in Sialkot’s Daska Tehsil, police told Express News on Sunday.

A police official said that N*, a resident of Daska, lodged a complaint at the police station in which she stated that she went to Bharoke Kalan area to meet her relatives.

She added that when she was returning home, accused Saddam, Muneer Ahmed, Khadija Bibi and Kiran Bibi abducted her in a vehicle. She said the culprits took her to an undisclosed location where accused Munir and Saddam allegedly sexually assaulted her for five months.

The woman stated in her complaint that she managed to escape from the custody of the accused and reached the police station.

Meanwhile, City police shifted the girl to a local hospital for a medical examination. The police have registered an FIR against the accused and started investigations.

Earlier on June 27, 2018, a seven-year-old girl was subjected to sexual assault in Faisalabad’s Islampura area.

Police said that the victim, H*, went to a shop owned by 50-year-old Faqeer Hussain to buy some items. When the girl reached the shop, Hussain forcibly took her to his house and raped her. After committing the heinous act, the suspect escaped from the scene, leaving the girl injured.

When the victim raised a hue and cry, people from the neighbourhood reached the spot and shifted her to a local hospital for treatment. Later, the suspect was taken into custody by police.
