Female teachers too are unsafe and we have enough instances of misconduct on campus that they have faced
KARACHI: This is in response to the article by Yamna Baig titled ‘Myth of safe professions for women’ published in this newspaper on Oct 13. Ms Baig unapologetically shows the real picture of the profession that is considered to be the one that is most coveted and safe for women.
While the author has clearly said that no profession is safe for women, I would like to mention another profession that is considered to be the best for women and that she has forgotten to mention — teaching.
Female teachers too are unsafe and we have enough instances of misconduct on campus that they have faced.
