The hail damaged some crops, especially vegetables being grown in Pandyali and some parts of Ghallanai.
However, it also brought joy to many faces in the district after a long spell of drought.
This summer had seen water scarcity in Ghallanai and Baizai sub-divisions of the district, Sajid, a resident of Ghallanai, told The Express Tribune.
