DOW Dental College: Governor vows to resolve students’ issues

Says it was very unfortunate that students were forced to stage protests for a problem not created by them

KARACHI:
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has pledged to resolve the registration issue of students of DOW Dental College and has said that it was very unfortunate that students were forced to stage protests for a problem which was not created by them.

He was addressing the fourth All Pakistan DOW-DICE Innovation Exhibition at Expo Centre. MPA Dr Seema Zia, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) Vice Chancellor Prof Saeed Qureshi and the founding chairman of Distinguished Innovations, Collaboration and Entrepreneurship (DICE) were also present on the occasion.


The Sindh governor said that he would ensure that the academic year of such students is protected and that they are able to concentrate on their studies with complete peace of mind. He said that DUHS is the pride of Pakistan as its graduates have served their chosen fields with dedication. They are a prime example of excellence and knowledge imparted by their university, he added.
