KARACHI: Despite the tall claims made by political parties that they are striving for an egalitarian society, we are a society of the rich and smug where we do not care to notice the poverty around us. The rich people of this country are getting richer, without noticing the poverty around them. It is saddening to hear about a poor man committing suicide in Murad Memon Goth, Karachi.
