Karachi police conducted operations against criminals in different parts of the metropolis and arrested 67 absconders, nine proclaimed offenders and six other criminals.
During search operations in Hyderabad and Sukkur, police apprehended 44 absconders and 29 proclaimed offenders.
The police also recovered weapons, drugs and contraband from their possession.

A policeman was injured when his gun accidentally went off in the Azizabad police station on Wednesday. According to rescue workers, 45-year-old Mushtaq, son of Rahim, suffered bullet injuries when his gun fired accidentally. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
