Kidnapping cases in Karachi

Published: October 11, 2018

KARACHI: The alarming rise in kidnapping cases in Sindh, especially in Karachi, keeps parents worried. The government has ordered law-enforcement agencies to stay alert and has asked parents not to leave their children unattended. There are many causes of kidnapping notably unemployment, poverty, and political vendetta. So the crime needs to be tackled with a holistic approach.

When parents and families fail to pay the ransom amount the hostages are killed. The police must be active and the government must enact stricter laws against the crime.
