Tragedy: Zardari’s gardener dies in accident

Body was handed over to his family and taken to Attock for burial.

ISLAMABAD: A gardener serving at President Asif Ali Zardari’s private residence in F-8 died on Thursday in a road accident.

Mubarak Khan, 55, suffered multiple injuries after his bicycle was hit by a motorcycle from behind on Margalla Road. Khan was shifted to PIMS, where he was pronounced dead, said a police official.

He added the unknown biker fled the scene and left his motorcycle behind. Khan’s body was handed over to his family and taken to Attock for burial. The police impounded the bike, registered a case and started tracking the suspect down.
