He was attending the ‘National Day’ reception hosted by the consul of Italy in Karachi, Roberto Franceschinis. The reception was hosted to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the proclamation of the Italian Republic and 150 years of Italian unity.
Franceschinis said that he was striving to promote cultural bonds and strengthen and expand economic relations as well as further enhance bilateral ties between Pakistan and Italy. The reception was attended by diplomats, politicians, top businessmen, the media and elite of the city.
