Getting the boot: Robbery accused throws shoe at judge

During the hearing, accused started swearing at judge and pelted him with shoes.

BAHAWALPUR: An accused pelted a judge with shoes in court on Friday. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred in the Hasilpur area court of civil judge first class Malik Allah Data Anjum, where an accused pelted the judge with his shoes.

Robbery accused, Mumtaz, was brought from central jail Bahawalpur to the court of civil judge and during the hearing the accused started swearing at the judge and pelted him with shoes. Following the encounter, police officials registered a case under terrorism act in City Hasil Police Station.
