Enhancing ties: Sacrifices of soldiers bolstered security

American consul General calls on CM KP

PESHAWAR: The sacrifices of the army and security agencies, supported by locals, led to the extermination of terrorists from the newly merged tribal districts. This was stated CM Mahmood Khan as American Consul General Jonathan Shrier called on him at the Chief Minister Secretariat in Peshawar on Thursday and the two discussed matters of mutual interest, a readout of the meeting said. Mahmood said that improved law and order situation and secure environment along with welfare-oriented projects are of some of the priorities of his government. Security and peace, he said, would never be compromised as the armed forces and the people had sacrificed everything for bringing peace and normalcy in the province.
