Canada woman breaks silence on PM groping allegation
Convicting the man, a Dubai court jailed him for three months. He will be deported once he has served the sentence.
Police claimed to have nabbed the man from the shop in front of the woman. A sergeant said she "pointed at the accused and claimed that he had touched her top." The man said he had touched her "by mistake", the policeman said.

The defendant's lawyer maintained the vendor had no criminal intent. "While he was taking her measurements, he mistakenly touched her top. He did not intend to do so."
The verdict remains subject to appeal.
