NTS Vaccinators’ test

Letter October 03, 2018
National Testing Service conducted test for the posts of vaccinators under EPI Health Project

HYDERABAD: On September 16, 2018, the National Testing Service (NTS) conducted test for the posts of Vaccinators BPS-6 under the EPI Health Project, Sindh across the province. The NTS had composed the MCQS’s paper in Urdu which was given to the candidates at the test. In fact the test was very difficult to understand particularly for those candidates who belong to the rural areas of Sindh, because they have little or no grasp over Urdu language.

Majority of the candidates particularly from these areas could not even understand the question paper properly. The NTS should have composed the question paper in English rather than Urdu. The NTS has recently announced the result of the test.

Due to the difficulty in comprehending the language majority of the candidates have failed the test. I urge the chairman of the National Testing Service and the director EPI Health Department, Government of Sindh, to look into the matter. Furthermore, the NTS must compose the test papers of upcoming projects for Sindh in English rather than Urdu so that candidates do not have to face any difficulty while attempting the question paper.
