Seven terrorists killed as army repulses attack on North Waziristan border post
Three terrorists were injured in the attack, friendly forces suffered no casualties

At least seven terrorists were killed on Tuesday after the Pakistan Army repulsed a cross-border attack on a border post in North Waziristan tribal district, said the Inter-Services Public Relations. (ISPR).
Three terrorists were also injured in the attack. The military's media wing said soldiers effectively responded to the attack.

Friendly forces suffered no casualties as per details of the ISPR statement.
Earlier in September, at least nine terrorists were killed in an intelligence-driven operation in North Waziristan tribal district which also resulted in the martyrdom of seven servicemen, including an officer.
The operation was ordered after intelligence had been received that a group of terrorists were hiding in a compound after infiltrating from across [the Afghan] border.
Pakistan Army had launched a massive military operation, codenamed Zarb-e-Azb, in North Waziristan in 2014 against foreign terrorists and their local cohorts.

The terrorists were comprehensively defeated and their command and control network was decimated. Hundreds were killed, while the rest managed to slip into Afghanistan taking advantage of the porous border.
