Several injured in Shahdra factory blast
LAHORE: A blast in a chemical factory near Shahdra caused the building to collapse trapping people underneath. A rescue operation to take people out of the collapsed structure is under way.

Rescue 1122 workers started the rescue operation and have been able to recover a body of a girl from the rubble while the six injured have been shifted to the Mayo Hospital.

Rescue officials also put 10 fire engines to use and are still trying to control the fire that erupted and caused the building to collapse.
