Resetting ties: FM Qureshi to meet Pompeo, Bolton today
Qureshi will also meet members of the US Congress
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US National Security Adviser John Bolton in Washington on Tuesday, Radio Pakistan reported.
Regional issues and bilateral relations are expected to be discussed in the meetings as the two countries move towards resetting ties which frayed after US President Donald Trump assumed office.
The high-level huddle is on top of the foreign minister's agenda and is aimed at following up on progress made during Pompeo's earlier trip to Islamabad.
FM Qureshi will also meet with members of the US Congress and address an event at the US Institute for Peace.
