During the ongoing strike against KESC in Karachi, incidents of violence left two people dead while four others have been injured.

In Sohrab Goth, unidentified people threw stones and burned tyres disrupting the flow of traffic.
Rangers and police have been called in and a subsequent exchange of fire has injured four people including one Rangers official.
Meanwhile, in seperate incidents of shooting, two people were killed in Gulistan-e-Johar and near Malir Jamia Malia College, while a person was injured in Quaidabad.
Locals face increasing problems after public transport and petrol pumps joined in with the strike and remained closed for the day.
