Untitled 'Deadpool' film to release in December 2018

Upcoming release will push other Marvel films to later dates

Fans of Deadpool, prepare yourselves. Fox Studios has announced that it will be releasing a yet-to-be-titled Deadpool film in December this year, reported Variety.

The upcoming Deadpool film which is scheduled to released on December 21, 2018, will reportedly be a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2. Insiders stated that new footage has been recorded for the release. Actor Ryan Reynolds who plays the anti-hero also tweeted of his Deadpool self on Friday, implying that the untitled film will be a more toned down version of Deadpool 2.



Sci-fi flick Alita will be shifting from its crowded holiday slot and now release on February 14. Even X-Men's next installment Dark Phoenix starring Sophie Turner will also be postponed for an early summer release next year on June 7.

Likewise, another X-Men film Gambit will now hit screens on March 13, 2020, instead of summer 2019. The film is currently in its development phase and feature Channing Tatum as the lead.
