Paraplegic centre: German ambassador assures help

German ambassador showed willingness to extend possible technical and material support to centre

PESHAWAR: German Ambassador Martin Kobler on Saturday visited Paraplegic Center Peshawar (PCP) on the invitation of Friends of Paraplegics, a local NGO striving for the rights of people with physical impairments. German ambassador showed willingness to extend possible technical and material support to centre in its rehabilitation activities. PCP CEO of Dr Syed Ilyas told the guests that PCP has rehabilitated more than 9,000 people with spinal injuries, besides providing them with custom made wheelchairs and all other needed assistive devices. In collaboration Red Cross the centre plans to treat children with idiopathic club feet.
