Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Vice Chief Air Marshal SB Deo was rushed to a military hospital on Wednesday after he accidentally shot himself in the thigh, India Today reported.

IAF sources told India Today the air marshal was immediately taken to a hospital after. The incident transpired as the IAF man placing his pistol on a table upon returning from work. His condition is said to be stable.



Two Indian Air Force pilots killed in plane crash

Deo took charge as IAF vice chief in January, 2017. The force is yet to comment on the incident.
