ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Planning, Development and Reform Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has said that Pakistan is seeking to start a new era of economic cooperation with Egypt. “Egypt and Pakistan enjoy distinguished locations with regard to international trade,” he was quoted as saying by Egyptian news agency Mena on Tuesday. Bakhtiar, who was leading a 180-people business delegation, said the two countries needed to cooperate to frame such economic policies that could enable them to utilise available opportunities. He lauded the Suez Canal project, saying it offered a promising chance for boosting trade in the region.
