A video of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan saving an Arabian oryx has been gaining traction on Instagram.

The one-minute video captioned "All good to go for this Oryx! Mission accomplished." has been viewed over 700,000 times since being posted on Monday.

The Dubai prince, popularly known as Fazza, is seen travelling in a vehicle when he spots the oryx, horns entangled in net, alone.

He then shoots the animal with a tranquiliser. Hamdan and his companions then gather around the unconscious Oryx and cut the net.

The prince then administers another injection and the men return to the vehicle. The prince then sprays water to rouse the animal.

Hamdan, who is followed by over six million people on Istagram, has been praised for his actions. Watch the video here:
