Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua on Thursday said in a weekly briefing that Pakistan would protect its sovereignty at all costs.
Janjua added that Pakistan is fighting the war on terror itself and that the decision about the North Waziristan operation will be taken keeping in view national interest.
She added that the US had not given Pakistan access to Mumbai attacks accused David Headly.
She said talks between India and Pakistan are progressing smoothly and that the Kishan Ganga Dam issue would be resolved under the Indus Water Treaty.
The spokesperson also informed the press that President Zardari will tour Kazakhstan from June 15 to attend the summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
