Arjun Kapoor's grandmother feels Parineeti Chopra is the 'perfect bride' for him

Actor revealed she wants him to tie the knot soon

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor revealed on his birthday this year that his grandmother wants him to get married as soon as possible. And also that she believes Parineeti Chopra is perfect for him, reported Hindustan Times.

Arjun and Parineeti are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Namaste England. The 2 States actor said, "After watching Namaste England’s trailer, dadi said that out of my all co-stars, I look best onscreen with Parineeti. She thinks Parineeti is the perfect bride for me in real life as well."

He continued that earlier on his birthday, he had been issued a "warning" by her. "Dadi has never articulated her feelings so firmly. Before this, it was all said in jest. But this time, she’s put a tick to it and since she has few expectations from me, I intend to fulfill this demand at the right time with the right person," Arjun continued.

When the 33-year-old star was asked about his marriage plans earlier, he had stated that he does believe in the "institution of marriage" but he wants his sisters - Anshula, Rhea, Janhvi and Khushi  - to get married first. "There have just been two weddings, Mohit Marwah and Sonam Kapoor. We should give some time to the family too or else they’ll get tired of attending weddings. Just give me some time please."
