Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif will chair a meeting of the parliamentary party on Thursday (today) to discuss the party’s strategy regarding the independent commission to probe the Abbottabad incursion, the upcoming budget and Kashmir elections.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Punjab House. According to sources, the issue of the establishment of a commission to probe terrorist attack on PNS Mehran in Karachi is also likely to be discussed.

There is also a likelihood that the party would lodge a protest during the budget session of parliament. The PML-N would come up with a strategy that include a boycott of parliament and en bloc resignations.

The PML-N spokesperson said the committee would discuss the situation arising after his party’s rejection of the newly-constituted commission.
