Those connected with the film industry and the government should take appropriate measures to rectify the situation
LAHORE: It is heartening to see that the Pakistani film industry is seeing revival as lately some good movies have been made in the country. People are getting familiar with our upcoming talented film actors, producers, directors, music directors and singers. However, there is a stumbling block, that is, expensive cinema tickets. Prices of tickets at cineplex and multiplex are beyond the reach of the common man. Only the affluent can afford such expensive tickets. Perhaps this is the main reason why movies are taken off the screen after only a few weeks. Those connected with the film industry and the government should take appropriate measures to rectify the situation. We should bring cinema affordable for all segments of people.
