Cycling: Contador cleared for 2011 Tour

Contador’s doping case hearing will be heard from August 1 to August 3.

PARIS: Three-time Tour de France champion Alberto Contador has been cleared to defend his title in this year’s race, as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirmed his doping case will be heard after the 2011 Tour concludes. This year’s Tour starts from July 2 to July 21. Contador’s hearing will now be heard from August 1 to August 3.
