Women Empowerment: More female traffic wardens required
Female traffic wardens to educate female commuters about traffic rules
ISLAMABAD:
Residents of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad Thursday demanded of the quarters concerned to increase the number of female traffic wardens to educate female commuters about traffic rules. Most of the residents said that with the presence female traffic wardens on the road, female drivers will have more opportunities to interact with them for seeking traffic guidance or gaining knowledge on any traffic related problem. They said that with their deployment, they can be a source of motivation and there will be a message for other women that they can do a tough job as well as any male officer. These female wardens are ready to face big challenges.
