ISPR says four terrorists including an operational level terrorist were killed in the raid

Three soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in North Waziristan on Thursday.

"Security forces launched an IBO in North Waziristan against terrorists involved in an attack on security forces on 12 September as well as ambush on security forces convoy during December 2017, which resulted in martyrdom of Lieutenant Moeed," said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

"All four terrorists including operational level terrorist Aftab Parakay killed," the military's media wing said. "Terrorist were fully armed and gave tough resistance."

In exchange of fire, the ISPR added, three soldiers Naib Subedar Nazir Ahmed Chandio, Sepoy Fakhar and Sepoy Amir of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom. The area has been cleared.

On September 9, one soldier embraced martyrdom while four terrorists were killed in a security operation in Jhao near Awaran, Balochistan.
