Party insiders in Lahore earlier confirmed that the former first lady would be laid to rest at the Sharifs' residence in Jati Umra.
Moreover, the congregational prayers (Rasm-e-Qul) will be offered on September 16 from Asr to Maghrib, the PML-N spokesperson added.

It was also announced that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif would also meet his mourners from 4pm to 6pm at his residence.

Nawaz, Maryam and Safdar released on parole ahead of Kulsoom Nawaz's burial
Meanwhile, Hussain Nawaz's son Zayd Hussain Nawaz also spoke out via Twitter that Begum Kulsoom's funeral would also be carried out at Regents Park Masjid in London.
On Tuesday, Nawaz and his daughter Maryam Nawaz as well as his son-in-law retired captain Mohammad Safdar were released on parole in the wee hours after Begum Kulsoom's demise.
