BJP youth wing accuses opposition party of proliferating "fake news"

The youth wing of the Indian National Congress, the country's chief opposition party, has been excoriated by Twitterati for tweeting a post showing Azad Kashmir as part of Pakistan.

The Friday tweet criticised Indian premier Narendra Modi for allowing Pakistan to "silently increase nuclear warheads" while he busied himself delivering "jumla strikes after jumla strikes."

While Mr Modi is delivering jumla strikes after jumla strikes, Pakistan has silently increased its nuclear warheads to 150, which is 40 more than that of India.

Twitterati in India were quick to react. The Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) accused the opposition party's youth wing of "spreading fake news".

In order to spread fake news, Congress has shown Parts of Jammu & Kashmir in Pakistan's map.

Another user said the party's youth wing would sell Kashmir once it ascended to power. One questioned the INC's loyalty to the nation.

Youth Congress will be ready to sale kashmir when congress will be in power, they already showing it as pak territory. Self goal.

A Twitter user noted the discrepancy between official party line and 'pro-peace' views of veteran INC politician Mani Shankar Aiyar and cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Your siddu, Mani shankar promoting Pak as peace lovers and urging India to be friendly with them but youth Congress view is against their seniors. This is against your senior's views.
