He told The Indian Express that while he was in "no mood" to watch a biopic on himself right now, it would inspire many people who enter Bollywood to become actors. Govinda said, "All artists who have started their careers from zero need to be appreciated. Especially because this is a place where people do not easily get opportunities, more so if you are an outsider. So of course, a biopic can be made on my life. The story of my struggle can inspire people but I don’t think this is the right time for it yet."

The Coolie No.1 actor then shared how he has now accepted the good and bad days of his life. "In poverty, many people tend to succumb to depression. But I would say that it is better to accept that situation and move on, and enjoy the smaller things in life," added Govinda.

Like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, Govinda also ruled the box office during the 90s and early 2000s. However, the 54-year-old actor hasn't been able to recreate his success for a quite a while.

Despite that, Govinda still believes that he hasn't failed as a performer. Recalling his early career, Dulhe Raja star explained, "I never thought I would become so famous and people would shower their love and blessings. I hope this unconditional love continues. The actor is not a flop actor till the time he thinks he is. I have never been scared or felt I have failed. I don’t turn back. Whatever phase or time it may be, I am still working and I will continue to do so."
