Shootout: Man kills wife, SHO, injures six

TANK: A man allegedly killed his wife and an SHO while injuring four children and two police personnel in Tank District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Police told APP here on Monday that Nisar Masood, an Internally Displaced Person residing in Garah Baloch, reportedly gunned down his wife. The neighbours informed the Cantt police station. Station House officer (SHO) Mureed Akbar and his team raided the house to arrest the accused Nisar, but he resisted and opened fire, killing the SHO and injured Hawaldar Khalid Pervaiz and Constable Salim. He also injured four minor children aged between two to five years. Nisar Masood was shot and killed during the encounter. The injured children include Zahid, Shazaib and Zahidullah. The injured shifted to Christian hospital Tank.
