Sindh censors rue Fakhr-e-Alam’s departure
Alam took to Twitter and posted a picture of the vehicle's number plate. "I was just hit from behind, in Clifton, by this police mobile. Their initial reaction was to harass me by sending a guard with a weapon to ask me to move from the way," he shared. "When I got off from my car, the officer in the lead vehicle ran away and the rest of the officers refused to name him for me."

The 42-year-old added, "I would kindly request the officer's name to be disclosed. I want to know whose protocol it was or who he was escorting, or if the officer was on duty."
I would kindly request that the officer name be disclosed. Whose protocol mobile is this and was it on duty for the officer or for escorting someone from school. I stopped the mobile for 30 minutes sadly had it been someone else they would have man handled him.

The Bhangra Rap artist continued that such an act cannot go unchecked. "We respect your security if you are on a sensitive job but is the life and property of ordinary citizens of no value? By all means, protect yourselves but don't humiliate citizens and don't damage our properties."
This cannot go unchecked. We respect your security if you are on a sensitive job but is the life and property of ordinary citizens of NO value. By all means protect yourselves but don't humiliate citizens and don't damage our properties. Whose protocol was this?

Alam also mentioned that he is hoping for the responsible officer to own up to his act and it would only be civil to disclose himself.
I am still hoping that the officer whose police escort hit my car would at least have the courtesy to disclose his identity and own up to this. It's the civil thing to do. The driver & security people I have no problems with. They only know how to follow orders.

He stated that he does not hold a grudge against anyone but the officers' attitude changed when Alam started recording the incident on his phone.
I do not hold a grudge against this police driver and the other drivers. What bothers me is that they initially tried to play rough only when I got off the car & took my phone camera out did they change their attitude. All I want to know is the name of whose escort was this? pic.twitter.com/6jP6aiDpkG

The singer then highlighted that citizens - whether rich or poor - must not feel helpless. "We understand the security challenges but bullying citizens should not be allowed. The common man has been mistreated by VIP protocol or security officers many times. I just hope that everyone would teach their security staff to be careful and respect the other person."
Fakhr-e-Alam aims to break world record
