Blast at Kandhkot railway tack injures one

KANDHKOT: A woman was injured in a bomb attack at Khush Haal Khan Express near Kandhkot in interior Sindh on Tuesday.

Initial reports indicate that the bomb had been planted at the track and a time device had been attached as detonator. Three boggies and the engine derailed after the blast, that also created a big crater on the scene.


Rangers, police and railway officials reached the spot after the blast and evacuated the passengers.


Frontier Corps personnel were onboard the train at the time of the blast. They were coming to Peshawar from Karachi.
