The problem of disposal of solid waste is ever-growing in Karachi and other cities of Sindh
KARACHI: Considering the ever-growing problem of disposal of solid waste in Karachi and other cities of Sindh province, I want to make a humble suggestion to the common people. As things stand there does not seem any possibility of the authorities concerned to act swiftly, the foreseeable future, to remove garbage from streets and lanes, people who have some vacant land within their houses should bury their garbage in the earth in order to make compost manure. This kind of fertilizer is natural and also free from chemicals. So it is safe for human and other living beings’ health. People can use the compost manure in their own kitchen gardens and flower gardens and flower pots. So this manure will serve dual purpose. It will help people keep their surroundings clean and also provide them natural manure with no cost. It will also save them from looking towards the government for the solution of this menacing problem. People can also make some money by selling the compost manure.
Let the government turn a blind eye to people’s problems. We should not depend for everything on the government.
