Karachi experiences little to no rainfall
KARACHI: The weather pattern in the city of Karachi has been hugely affected because of the deforestation that occurred due to many forested areas being converted into gated-residential areas. In fact, the plantation drive that took place a few years ago also had those trees planted which added no value to the city’s climatic changes, besides merely adding beauty to it.
As a result, today Karachi experiences little to no rainfall and that should send alarm bells ringing in the corridors of power.
