'Pak-China military drills foster regional peace'
China has carried out joint exercises, training and competitions with Pakistani armed forces
Beijing on Friday appreciated joint efforts by Chinese and Pakistani armed forces and said it deepened mutual trust between the two countries and foster regional peace.
"China and many countries have carried out joint exercises, training and competitions, which surely includes the friendly Pakistani armed forces," said Spokesperson Senior Colonel Wu Qian during a defence ministry briefing.

Lauding the endeavours of Pakistan's military, he added: "These joint exercises, training and competition help the military of participating countries to enhance understanding, deepen mutual trust, improve the ability to deal with multiple security threats and jointly maintain regional peace and stability."
Pakistan and China have been in talks for regional peace, earlier in March when Chinese Central Military Commission (CMC) Vice Chairman General Zhang Youxia met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ, both sides signed different MoUs for bilateral defence cooperation.
